Política Editorial

REVISTA MINERVA é dirigida ao público formado especialmente por professores,  pesquisadores, pós-graduandos, graduandos e profissionais de empresas e institutos que atuam e/ou fazem uso dos conhecimentos e técnicas das áreas de Engenharia Civil, Engenharia Mecânica, Engenharia de Produção, Engenharia Elétrica, Engenharia Aeronáutica, Engenharia de Materiais, Engenharia Mecatrônica, Engenharia Ambiental e Arquitetura. REVISTA MINERVA publica: 1) artigos que representam um avanço técnico-científico; 2) artigos que retratam e analisam casos/situações de empresas ou apresentam experiências oriundas de alguma aplicação real; 3) artigos que relatam os projetos de pesquisa e seus resultados. O artigo submetido deve ser original, exceto o que já foi resumidamente publicado em anais de congresso, cujo artigo completo tem informações adicionais relevantes, ou publicado em periódico estrangeiro de pouca penetração no Brasil. Cada artigo submetido será avaliado por referees (blind-review). Caberá ao Conselho Editorial a interpretação das avaliações. Os membros do Corpo Editorial são os representantes da REVISTA MINERVA e podem fazer parte do corpo de referees do ano. No primeiro número do ano é publicada a relação dos referees que avaliaram trabalhos no ano anterior. Idioma: preferencialmente inglês, podendo ser publicado em português ou espanhol, incluindo título e resumo em inglês.

Editorial Policy

REVISTA MINERVA is aimed to university teachers, researchers, graduates, undergraduates and professionals in businesses and institutes who act and/or use the theory and techniques of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Electric Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Material Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Ambiental Engineering and Architecture. REVISTA MINERVA publishes: 1) articles which represent a technical advance; 2) articles which present and analyse business case studies or present results obtained from practical applications; 3) articles which relate research projects and their results. Submitted manuscripts must be original, except for those previously published in the proceedings of congresses and the full-length manuscript has additional relevant information, or published in a foreign journal with a small circulation in Brasil. Each manuscript submitted will be reviewed by referees (blind review). It will be the responsability of the Editorial Council to interpret the assessment. The members of the Editorial Board are the representatives of REVISTA MINERVA and they may form part of annual body of referees. In the first issue of the year, a list is published of the referees who evaluated manuscripts in the previous year. Language: preferably English. Manuscripts can be published in Portuguese or Spanish, including title and abstract in English.
